Fort Michilimackinac Historical Reenactment Pageant

The longest running free Memorial Day historical program in U.S. takes places for the 49th year in Mackinaw City: the Fort Michilimackinac Historical Reenactment Pageant. More than 400 cast members taking part in the three-day pageant that brings to life the 1763 Fort Michilimackinac battle between the French, British, and Native Americans.

The cast members are clad in period costumes and demonstrate the way of life for residents of Northern Michigan in the 1760s. A highlight of the weekend is the Memorial Day period through the streets of Mackinaw City that includes more than 100 band, acts, and floats.

7pm, Voyageurs frying pan toss, high school

10pm, paddle dance, high school

10am, Memorial Day service, Marina Park
2pm, 18th Century Mackinac Fashion Show, fort parade grounds
